An established New York financial executive, Nick Giannatasio guides The Eastern Group as principal and pursues investments centered on emerging international markets. A particular focus for Nick Giannatasio is European and Asian property markets, and he is experienced in currency arbitrage strategies.

With an extensive background in athletics, Mr. Giannatasio also serves as varsity head coach of Moore Catholic High School. He took over the role in 2015, at a time when there was a risk of the Staten Island sports program closing. His accomplishments include guiding the varsity squad to an 8-2 record in his initial year, which was followed by victory in the 2016 New York Catholic High School Football League (NYCHSFL) Class A Championship.

Having earned New York Giants/Gatorade High School Coach of the Week recognition in late 2018, Nicholas Giannatasio led the team to victory in the NYCHSFL Class AA2 Championship in 2019. His coaching resume extends to the mid-1990s, where he guided the Poly Prep Country Day School junior varsity team to Ivy League Championships in consecutive years before a stint as WR coach at Susan Wagner HS. Nick went on to become the Offensive Coordinator at Nazareth Regional HS for two seasons. Nick then spent thirteen years as the Offensive Coordinator at Bishop Ford HS in Brooklyn.

Nick Giannatasio holds a bachelor’s degree in English earned at the City University of New York, and a master’s in International Relations from Harvard University.
